Kährs engineered wood floors come with three different joint systems: Woodloc® 5S, Woodloc® and tongue & grove.
In 2000, we launched Woodloc® – the first glue-less locking joint system in the world. This ingenious joint system locks the boards together mechanically, creating a completely gap-free floor.
In 2010, Kährs launched the next level of the Woodloc® locking joint system – Woodloc® 5S. The new system makes installation even faster and more flexible, while producing a stronger floor.
Woodloc® 5S
Woodloc® 5S makes installing a Kährs floor extremely fast and simple. Woodloc® 5S is the newest version of Woodloc®, the innovative glue-less locking joint system with a special locking tongue to create strong joints.

Woodloc® 5G
A mechanical joint with no need for glue.
- Easier and faster installation
- Ensuring a stronger floor
- Suitable for use with Kährs 7mm and 13 mm floors.
Tongue & Groove
This is a traditional tongue and groove construction.
- Needs glue. Allow it to dry before use, following installation
- Suitable for Kährs 20 mm floors
